Stacy Vollands Counseling & Recovery
I have a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology. I am licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I am also a Certified Trauma Professional, author and motivational speaker and I have spoken to many women’s groups and churches. I bring unique experience, perspective and compassion into the counseling profession and thoroughly enjoy encouraging others to find hope, health and wholeness as well as lifelong recovery. I am also passionate about the integration of faith into the healing process and love offering Christian counseling to those who would like this approach.
I specialize in Anxiety and Depression, OCD, Trauma, Cutting, Drug and Alcohol Addictions, Eating Disorders and Personality Disorders. I did my addictions clinical counseling internship at Memorial Hermann Hospital Prevention and Recovery Center in Houston.
I strive to use the most current and effective methods of treatment to lead people on a path to wellness and abundant life. I offer a holistic counseling approach that is collaborative, individualized and sensitive to the unique physical, mental, spiritual, emotional and social needs of each individual. I have the ability to listen carefully, without judgment and this helps people feel understood and cared for. I have been married for 23 years and my husband, Phillip, and I have 3 daughters, ages 20, 18 and 13.
